EVENT DESCRIPTION
Kick off 2022 right with the WHOOP Workout Series!

The three-week training program features favored workouts from various WHOOP ambassadors, including Lionel Sanders, Alex Howes from EF Pro Cycling, and the Tinman Elite running team. Whether you’re trying to sharpen your skills as a triathlete, cyclist, or runner, you’ll receive elite-level workouts complete with strain-readiness recommendations based on WHOOP’s very own physiological performance tracker.

Green: Your body is well-recovered and primed to go all out
Yellow: Your body isn’t fully recovered but is still ready for moderate efforts
Red: Your body is fatigued, and you should take it easy today

We’ll also be hosting recovery rides led by Lionel Sanders, Alex Howes, and Tinman Elite. If you’ve ever wanted to chat with them, this is your chance.

EF Pro Cycling (Cycling)
Category A (Green Day) Workouts: Racing generally follows an annoying-but-predictable pattern: we go way too hard right from the get-go, most people blow up, and we all suffer to the end. These workouts are great because they help the body adapt to that rhythm while also helping us learn what our bodies are capable of in a dynamic race situation.
Category B (Yellow Day) Workouts: I love 30/30s on these days. They're great for developing high-end power that translates to on-the-road success, yet when broken into more bite-sized chunks, they're something the body can recover quickly from, setting me up for a Green Day tomorrow.
Category C (Red Day) Workouts: Here, activity can be thought of as optional, with anything you do ideally geared towards promoting recovery. Some deep breathing and a light spin are great ways to clear the mind and increase blood flow to stimulate recovery. Cadence drills help stimulate recovery without overly taxing the system.
