5. Pyramids

This workout is all about high aerobic power, with a series of intervals that looks like a pyramid in their profile. Each “pyramid” lasts 7 minutes and includes short rest periods within the pyramid interval. This will help you “raise the roof” on your maximal aerobic capacity. To really turn up the intensity of this workout, there’s a twist: a short 7-minute block of sub-threshold effort in-between each pyramid. It’s a good day to push your limits!
