ABOUT THIS WORKOUT

Welcome to the weekly BAM Group Workout.

Join us for a fun workout that mixes up a bit of social with some nice hard efforts. This is a structured training workout that starts with 10-15mins of warm-up followed by threshold efforts based on each individual riders FTP.

WORKOUT DESIGNER
These workouts are designed and led by BAM founder Anna Russell. Anna is an avid cyclist and triathlete who raced professionally in Ironman and is a multiple Kona qualifier. After two kids Anna now coaches full-time and has a passion for supporting fellow moms get active and be competitive.

Team BAM stands for Badass Moms and is a group of supportive women who are trying to juggle family-life and keeping active. You'll get a good strong workout, perfect when you have limited time and the little ones are knocking at the door!

ABOUT GROUP WORKOUTS

Zwifters line up in the starting area just like a normal event and once the event starts, workout mode begins. Everyone stays together regardless of power output. That's right, if you're outputting 100W and another Zwifter is outputting 400W you will stay in exactly the same position relative to each other. Only if you stop pedaling and fall 6 meters behind the group will the rubber-banding stop.

HELPFUL HINT

We highly recommend doing one of the FTP tests as the estimated FTP can be inaccurate and make the difficulty level of the workouts too high for your current fitness level.
