Zwift How-To: Accessing Your Ride Data From Anywhere

on January 17, 2018

It’s easy to access your ride data from Zwift, and manually find it as well. The simplest way is to connect your Zwift account with one of our several partners Strava, TrainingPeaks, Today’s Plan, Mapmyrun & Mapmyride, Withings, fitbit, Garmin, and TechnoGym.

The other way is to download the .fit file from Zwift, and upload it to whatever platform or app you want. This rundown covers both.

Connecting Zwift to Fitness apps

Connecting Zwift to your fitness apps is easy, but must be done prior to riding. Zwift only uploads rides at the end of your session. It also won’t upload previous rides.

First go to and log into your account. Once you are in your account, tap/click Edit Profile in the top right corner of your screen. Tap/click on the Connections link on the left for a list of supported apps.

Select a platform, then follow the prompts to log in and connect your account. Any connected platforms will be in full color, while others are greyed out. There is no limit to the number of accounts you can paired with. Zwift will upload to as many apps as you want. Now all you have to do is start Zwifting. At the end of your ride, just hit save and exit. Your ride data is automatically shared with all your connected platforms. That simple!

You can also do this from the Zwift Mobile Link app. Log in to Zwift Mobile Link, tap the menu button, tap settings, tap connections, and finally tap the platform you want to connect with and confirm.

Downloading Your Fit File

To manually upload a Zwift ride that you successfully completed to other third-party sites, you can download the .fit file from your dashboard. Steps for manually uploading will vary from site-to-site; please consult the individual service's instructions.

Retrieving your Fit File for PC/Mac

If for any reason you experience an issue, such as a game crash or Internet loss, your fit file is automatically saved every 10 minutes in the \Documents\Zwift\Activities folder on your computer.

Retrieving your Fit File for iOS

If you're riding on iOS, here’s how to reach your .fit file:

Start up the Zwift Application. Tap on the 'Zwift' logo 3 times. This open up a browser, allowing you to choose your file (log or .FIT) and email them to whomever you'd like, yourself included.
