EVENT DESCRIPTION
QT2 Banded Group Simulation
After a short variable warm up, we settle into this workout which is designed to simulate a cross-section of an aggressive group ride. The main set consists of three rounds of a short intensive sprint, directly into a sub-TH hold set, right back into the intensive sprint, and again the sub-TH hold set. There are three minutes of recovery in between each round, and with each round, the length of the intensive sprint build from 30s to 60s. Finally, the workout is capped off with four more sub-TH intervals, all at the same intensity but descending in length. This workout is designed to help riders to be able to absorb the 'punchy' nature of group rides.
