This workout helps you improve agility for sprinting. The spinups in high cadence intervals will teach you how to quickly turn your legs, produce power, while keeping the upper body still as a statue and really work on that form. The rotation per minute of your legs (cadence) number will be guided throughout the workout. In between those sets there will be a contrast, low cadence for a couple minutes.
ERG mode is recommended so you can totally focus on the cadence.
This workout is found in the recovery folder and is indeed a recovery day workout; from the Jumbo Visma women's team. But! Your heart rate will certainly go up a lot when we are on the high cadence intervals and that is totally normal. Those fast movements to produce high cadence will need some extra heart pumps and get that blood moving.
