"Time to test your mettle against Spartacus himself! The Chasing Cancellara Series starts on February 24, to kick it off we're celebrating with a group with with Fabian Cancellara.

Chasing Cancellara—a unique format, mass-start event that not only has you competing against other participants but a time set by Fabian Cancellara himself.

Stage 1 starts Feb. 24. It might be the shorter of the 2 Chasing Cancellara race stages, but it won’t be easy. The Bologna “Time Trial Lap” route is the same course as the 2019 Giro d’Italia prologue TT stage. Stage 2 starts Mar. 3. It’s the longer of 2 Chasing Cancellara race stages, so get ready for a serious quad burn. The 2015 Richmond UCI Worlds Course starts on the flats and finishes with a series of punchy climbs. Get it!

For a little extra help smashing Spartacus’s time, a RoboPacer will be on-course to follow and help pace you to a strong finish.

For your noble steed, you’ll be auto-assigned Fabian’s weapon of choice: The BMC Team Machine souped up with a DT Swiss wheelset—so get ready to light it up!
No drafting—you’re going to battle Spartacus using your own power.
