Group Ride
EVENT DESCRIPTION
It’s time for your TEAM CLS Weekend Social Rideout - C CAT, with plenty of CHIT CHAT!
During the 22/23 'indoor season', we will continue to offer a mix of rides that cover flat, rolling and hilly terrain across various ride distances with the aim of getting in a solid 2-3hr endurance ride.
This is a chance to enjoy a friendly experienced group Club Ride with regulars who have no Big Egos. There is always plenty of in-ride banter, but this will both test and help build your fitness.
Team CLS have some awesome leaders on these rides who will keep you entertained throughout, and they will mix things up each week.
What pace to expect?
We will ride the flats around 2.5 w/kg with a focus on keeping everyone together! The leader will climb at around 3.0 - 3.2 w/kg depending on the length and if needed we will always try and regroup after.
While the leader will do everything to keep everyone together, we can't slow repeatedly so some splits are inevitable.
Our SWEEPERS on this ride, known as our ‘ORANGE ARMY’ (OA), are members of TEAM CLS who are dedicated to helping others. If you have had a drop out or accidently hit a wrong key, type ‘HELP’ and they will come back and offer you a wheel back to the group.
