EVENT DESCRIPTION
The #RacingTheFuture Zwift Challenge blends community, competition, and the chance to learn from the pros.

Hosted by one of our riders, this unique challenge invites cycling enthusiasts from around the globe to try and win the opportunity to join our riders in the pre-season training camp in the sunny Southern Spain, in January 2024.

How to RACE:

• First Half – The Group Ride: Start with a cohesive group ride alongside fellow cyclists and a pro-cyclist from the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. This is your chance to warm up, find your rhythm, and enjoy the camaraderie of the global cycling community.
• Second Half – The Sprint to Victory: The race heats up as our pro cyclist signals the start of a competitive dash to the finish line. This is where strategy, stamina, and speed come into play. Push your limits and race for glory!

Race Dates:
• RACE 1: 30 November 19:00 CET
• RACE 2: 7 December 19:00 CET
• RACE 3: 14 December 19:00 CET

How to WIN:

First off to be eligible to win the participant needs to join our Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team Club on Strava: https://www.strava.com/clubs/1185839Opens a new window

Performance Across Races:
• Each race is a standalone event, but your consistent performance over the three events (30 Nov, 7 Dec, and 14 Dec) is crucial.
• Each race position will score points – the lower your score, the better (e.g., 1st place = 1 point, 10th place = 10 points, DNS = 25 points).
Cumulative Scoring:
• Your position in each race will be added together for a cumulative score. For example, if you finish 3rd, 1st, and 2nd in the races, your total score would be 6 (3+1+2).
• The cyclist with the lowest cumulative score at the end of the three races will be declared the winner.
Tie-Breaker:
• In the event of a tie, the final race's performance will be used as a tie-breaker.

Joining the Training Camp:
• The overall winner will earn the exclusive opportunity to join the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team at their training camp for a 2-night stay, immersing in the life of a professional cyclist/team member.
