Back for the second year in a row, the Dempsey Challenge is on for 2021!
Zwift has partnered with actor and philanthropist Patrick Dempsey for a two-day series aimed at raising funds for the Dempsey Center, an organization committed to making life better for people managing the impact of cancer.
Help reach 50,000 collective miles with the community across all events this weekend, and Zwift will unlock a $50,000 donation to the Dempsey Center. With four rides and three run/walk events, there's plenty of opportunities to help out!
Log in on Saturday, October 23, as Patrick leads a live broadcast group ride accompanied by special guests and talks about the center, his career, and his love for cycling.
Circle back on Sunday, October 24, to ride any of the 6, 12, 25, or 42-mile challenges. You can also run or walk our 2-mile, 5k, or 10k events.
Ride any event to unlock the Dempsey Challenge Kit. Plus when you complete any run event, you’ll unlock the Dempsey Challenge Shirt. Do both, get both—a Zwifter can never have enough swag.

Getting started with scored races
You'll need to finish a few rides before you can join your first scored race. With more data we'll be able to recommend the best group for you to compete against.
