Today’s stage 8 finish of the Vuelta a España is brand new, an 11km climb up the Cat. 1 Alto de Moncalvillo, which averages 9 percent. Come join VeloNews to celebrate the Vuelta and climb the massive Ven-Top course that will net you 1534m/5,033ft in the course of just 20.9km/13mi.
You can ride whatever pace you like, but ride leader and VeloNews editorial director Ben Delaney will be doing 2.5-3w/kg. Come along for the chat!
