EVENT DESCRIPTION
Race, compete, get fit and have fun !! There are lots of tricks on Zwift to make you more effective, use your watts cleverly!
Remember slipstream is extremely effective, stay bunched for as long as possible. Don’t lose that wheel In front of you.
Power UPs: Allowed at all times.
Category podiums and results will be awarded on Zwiftpower.com after the race, based on ZP's wkg Category System.
Those local racers that do not have [NAMZ] as their primary team and want to compete in the League, please inform me directly so we can insert your results into the League results.
The point system will work from 50 points and account for the top 10. Male and Female separately
CATEGORIES (Best Est. FTP past 30 days)
- PEN A: 4.0W/kg and OVER (Red Circle Icon)
- PEN B: 3.2W/kg to 3.99W/kg (Green Circle Icon)
- PEN C: 2.5W/kg to 3.19W/kg (Blue Circle Icon)
- PEN D: UNDER 2.5W/kg (Yellow Circle Icon)
RULES
- Riders must opt-in and be fully registered with ZwiftPower for podium results
- Heart rate monitors are required for official results
- Powermeter or Smart Trainer required for official results
- All bikes permitted except TT bikes (you will have no fun)
- Riders going over category limits will be automatically upgraded
- Est. FTP is 95% of 20 min

You'll need to finish a few rides before you can join your first scored race. With more data we'll be able to recommend the best group for you to compete against.
