WHAT’S ALL THIS THEN?
Join the Herd Racing weirdos as we present a very special BACK 2 SKOOL EDITION (2024’S VERSION) of our ever-popular Climbers Gambit hill climb series!
IS THIS A RACE?
Everything in life is a race! But this race is a little bit different:
THE ONLY THING THAT COUNTS IN THIS RACE SERIES IS YOUR TIME ON THE TIMED KQOM SEGMENT(s) VERSUS OTHER RIDERS IN YOUR CATEGORY. Feel free to take it easy for the rest of the ride and get in a good warmup + a nice cooldown.
Be sure to finish the event route, crossing the blue custom finish banner, or your hill time will not count.
Draft + Powerups are both disabled, so it is just you against the following hills (start times listed below are very much approximate based on cursory YouTube race stream research…best to verify + stay alert out there!).
Times are ranked across all races each weekend and go toward an overall cumulative climbing time for GC purposes.

Weeknd 1 (Sep 7/8): THE GRADE via 1 Lap of OH HILL NO
Weeknd 2 (Sep 14/15): MAYAN + ITZA climbs (COMBINED TIME) via 17k of MAYAN SAN REMO
climbs start @ approx. 9.8k + 12.3k
Weeknd 3 (Sep 21/22): HILLY REVERSE + THE VOLCANO (COMBINED TIME) via 21k of ZWIFT GRAN FONDO

Weeknd 4 (Sep 28/29): EPIC + THE RADIO TOWER (COMBINED TIME) via 18k of MOUNTAIN ROUTE
Climbs start @ 4.4k + right after the finish of Epic

I WANT TO RACE AT DIFFERENT TIMES!
ME TOO! Luckily there are multiple time slots to choose from each weekend, and it doesn't matter if you don't do the same time slot each time. You can also race multiple times each weekend and your best result will count towards the overall GC.
I CAN'T MAKE IT TO EVERY RACE!
Well, cancel those frat/sorority house party plans because to compete for this digital trophy you’re going to have to complete all stages and compile hill times towards the overall GC.
