"Welcome to the USMeS – Back to Base – 1.8 – 2.2w/kg Ride
This Monday Recovery and Regroup, Ease back into the week with Back to Base. This is our Monday recovery ride. Designed to flush out the legs after your weekend missions. Our second recovery ride of the day, if you missed our Roll Call Ride earlier. This ride offering a smooth roll with just a touch of extra effort on the climbs to keep things lively.
✅ Pace: 1.8–2.2 w/kg average
✅ Style: Steady endurance with light pushes on the hills
✅ Fence: In use between efforts, we like to drop it for segments but regroup quickly
Ride Format:
Mostly steady Zone 2 riding
Gentle tempo on climbs—never all-out
Friendly chat encouraged
Expectations:
✅ Respect the recovery vibe - this isn’t a race
✅ When the fence comes down for a segment, regroup promptly behind the beacon
✅ Hydrate, spin easy, and enjoy the company
