EVENT DESCRIPTION
This is the longest ride on Zwift which will be led by Si Richardson MBE (awarded for services to disabled sport).
This event will be banded and be open to all abilities.

SI'S BIOGRAPHY

Si was involved in a car accident in 2001 which left him with serious injuries but he went onto represent Wales in cycling at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing China finishing with two golds and a silver and world record times. He was later due to compete in the 2012 Summer Paralympics but in 2011 he suffered catastrophic injuries whilst cycling after being stuck by a hit-and-run driver.

Si has continued to work at national level as a para-cyclist advisor and more recently turned to Zwift as a safer platform to continue his passion for cycling.

Si's disability however remains challenging, a battle that he is continuing to fight. This is where Zwift, GXY, and other clubs have come along to support his cycling journey.

Si has wanted to do this epic London ride for a while (the toughest ride on Zwift). Sadly, with Si's health starting to deteriorate, this may be his last opportunity so please come along to support this extraordinary man.
