What’s UNBOUND Gravel? Glad you asked.
It’s a grassroots race of various distances perfect for gravel-riding endurance cyclists. Recently, Life Time named Zwift as its Official Training Community and Training App for UNBOUND Gravel. So we decided to build an Unbound Training Experience for the Zwift community and participants of the UNBOUND Gravel event taking place June 4.
Eight weeks long. Three workouts per week—two shorter, structured sessions midweek and an endurance ride on the weekend. There will be group rides and a selection of routes to chase badges, making these hours in the saddle ones you don’t want to miss.
Want more than workouts? We’ve got something for you. Like weekly recovery rides alongside pro cyclists Ashton Lambie, Whitney Allison, and Kae Takeshita. Join these events for a shot at unlocking the in-game UNBOUND kit and helmet. If that wasn’t enough, check out our podcast series with gravel pros, and brand reps where we talk training, gravel racing, race prep, tactics, and much, much more.
Training begins April 11. See you then.
IS THIS A RACE?
No. This is a training series aimed at getting riders ready for the IRL UNBOUND Gravel event!

ABOUT UNBOUND
Garmin UNBOUND Gravel, presented by Craft Sportswear, was founded in 2006 at a time when gravel grinding was just beginning to catch the interest of the endurance cycling community. Inspired by some of the early gravel grinder events, event founders knew that the beauty of the region is best explored on two wheels, and with that, the 200 mile “race” took shape. The event resides in a region of Kansas called the Flint Hills, and cyclists around the globe have transcended upon those roads to tackle hilly, tire-shredding, sun-baked gravel.
