ABOUT LAWSON CRADDOCK

Lawson made global headlines this year when he crashed during the first stage of the Tour de France, causing a hairline fracture in his scapula, but continued racing. After that crash, he took to social media announcing he was donating $100 for every stage he finished to the Greater Houston Cycling Association in the rebuild of the Alkek Velodrome, where Craddock got his start in cycling and was damaged by Hurricane Harvery. A GoFundMe page was also set up for people to make direct donations to the cause. Craddock finished the race as the "lanterns rouge", becoming the first rider in Tour history to hold last place after every stage and earning nearly US$200,000 for his cause. His career highlights include three top 10 overall finishes in the Tour of California, including 3rd overall in the 2013 edition where he also won the Best Young Rider jersey.

GROUP WORKOUT FORMAT

Zwifters line up in the starting area just like a normal event and once the event starts, workout mode begins. Everyone stays together regardless of power output. That's right, if you're outputting 100W and another Zwifter is outputting 400W you will stay in exactly the same position relative to each other. Only if you stop pedaling and fall 6 meters behind the group will the rubber-banding stop.
