Sweden National Championship

Out of respect for your fellow Zwifters, if you are not from Sweden please do not enter this race. Thanks!

It’s the biggest one-day race of 2019! Zwifters from Sweden will battle for a year’s worth of bragging rights and the right to wear the virtual Sweden National Championship jersey for 12 months.

The Sweden National Championships are open to all Zwifters for both women and men. The epic event will decide who’s the best racer in your country.

Will it come down to pure power, tactics or team work? Who will have the best time? One thing is certain, the pace will be lightning fast from the start as riders will look to shake things up before settling in. Try to stay on the gas, or find a group at your pace and race individuals for a National Ranking place.

There are only two categories, split by gender:

- Open Men (A Group)
- Open Women (B Group)

Men and women will race the same route and distance. This event is open to all riders of all abilities and ages. Pros, semi-pros, amateurs - everyone is welcome! With so much participation, you never know who you might bump into on race day.

*zPower Disclaimer: While we're confident in its accuracy if your setup matches our standards, zPower is a calculated estimate for progress benchmarks, not absolute power values. Due to the number of variables - including manufacturer design inconsistencies in equipment - it's likely that the numbers you see will differ from what we calculated zPower with, and your wattage will be capped at 1200w. zPower is not recognized as a reliable source for racing because of these variables. If you want exact, accurate numbers, consider a power meter or smart trainer instead.

Just like in real life, to be a National Champion, you must be associated with the National Cycling Federation of your home country or country of residence in which you are able to represent. Either way, you can only represent 1 country. We require this race license for the potential winner of the Zwift National Championship to prove that their country and gender align with the physical federation in which they represent.

Preliminary results will be displayed on your screen when you finish for approximately 30 seconds. Click anywhere on the screen and the results will not disappear. Results displayed on www.zwiftpower.comOpens a new window are also preliminary results until racers are verified where necessary. Final results will be decided by ZwiftPower once eligible racers have been verified. We hope to announce the final results and all the winner's names by March 31.

There is only one prize: the winner will receive the National Champion virtual kit to wear for one year.

Good luck Zwifters!
