EVENT DESCRIPTION
Following a 5-year pro cycling career GCN Host Conor Dunne is embarking on a new year journey to get back to race level fitness.

Join Conor for this seven-week training series. A training plan developed specifically to get athletes back to race fitness quickly, with a weekend race to test your limits. The plan, assembled by Israel Start-Up Nation Performance Coach, Greg Henderson, is designed to help get you fitter in just seven short weeks.

There will be two group workouts offered each week that will be led by Conor himself.

ABOUT THE WORKOUT
Steady tempo efforts are great, but by incorporating 30sec high-intensity efforts into them, you will improve your body’s ability to work aerobically for longer periods of time. This helps the body adapt to the natural surges in climbing around hairpin corners or even following the increased pace after an attack. Today’s session consists of 2 x 16min tempo efforts with a 30sec surge every 3.5min.
