The cycling community is shocked by the loss of Casey Saunders.

Casey was a fixture in the bike racing scene. He was a fierce, capable, and fair competitor. Each us who raced or rode with him looked up to Casey. Indeed Casey set a standard for us all by the way he lived, both on and off the bicycle.

Always smiling and approachable, Casey we miss you dearly. we offer our deepest condolences to Casey's family and friends. We are heartbroken, and sorry for your loss.

(This ride is sub 2.5 wkg in respect for Casey. If you choose to ride harder you will be asked to leave the ride. Everyone please begin soft pedaling 10 seconds prior to the start so the start is fluid for everyone. Beginners please be careful of the natural surge Zwift group rides have the first kilometer. This is not a race. Please feel free to share you favorite Casey quotes or favorable thoughts of him during the ride. 5 minutes after the start there will be a 30 second silence to give your thoughts/prayers to Casey and his family.
