EVENT DESCRIPTION
One year ago, MGCC decided to tackle the Four Horsemen. At the finish line we said to ourselves it would be a long time before we tried that again. Well it's been a year ... so here we go again. Join us for the grande finale of the MGCC Zwift Sunday rides for the season.
Pace: We'll go at a steady pace on the flats, and hit the big climbs a little harder. We'll do our best to regroup at the top of the climbs, depending on the mood of the group. Steady aerobic on the flats (3.0 - 3.5 W/kg for A, 2.5 - 3.0 W/kg for B) then on the hills we will increase the pace to a bit above threshold (4.0-4.4 W/kg for A, 3.5-3.9 W/kg for B).
The groups may break-up on the climbs, but try to hang on to a wheel with similar ability. This is not a race, but it is no an easy ride either. You are encouraged to stay with the leader; don't count on a sweeper.
