EVENT DESCRIPTION
Back again and better than ever, Zwift Duathlon League begins June 9.
This year, competition comes with a twist. Gather your friends for some fast-moving fun. Each club’s roster will include at least four athletes. So rally your friends near and far because as the old saying goes—the more the merrier! Register a team on WTRL. https://www.wtrl.racing/zwift-duathlon-league/Opens a new window
Not interested in creating or joining a club? No problem! There will still be individual competition so you’ll have access to the best of both worlds. So no matter what you do, you’re in good company.
Here’s the event breakdown. A 35-minute non-draft TT bike race with a mass start. 10 minutes to transition, followed by a 15-minute run. Scores are based on how far you go. Ride 100m, earn a point! Cover 20m on foot, point! Routes will rotate each week. How many points can you stack up?
These races are the perfect opportunity to improve your transitions and strengthen your speed in each sport.
Pro tip: if you’re not on ZwiftPower yet, be sure to set it up in advance.
IS THIS A RACE?
Yes—for distance. The goal isn’t to cross the finish line first, it’s to see who can go the farthest distance in the amount of time allotted. Sure some athletes will be pushing the pace but others will be out there just for fun. If you’re racing, remember to create a ZwiftPower account and connect ZwiftPower on your Zwift Account/Connections in order to be on the result list.
