EVENT DESCRIPTION
Join us for a fun, supportive, and epic group ride! Whether you stay for a short spin or the full distance, everyone is welcome.
Our friendly, experienced Ride Leaders will keep the group together and the conversation lively throughout the ride.
The C and D Groups will make one brief stop at approximately 62 miles (100 km), while the A and B Groups will ride without a scheduled stop. Riders in all four groups can use the "Coffee Break" option for a 3-minute break every 30 minutes of riding time, staying with the group through automatic pacing.
This endurance ride is designed to last 4–5 hours. Each group's average pace, expressed in watts per kilogram (w/kg), is intended to keep most riders within their "Zone 2 Endurance / low Zone 3 Tempo" ranges. To ride within those ranges, choose the appropriate category based on your Functional Threshold Power (FTP) or Zwift's category calculations or assignments.
We'll primarily use flatter routes,** so smaller riders may need to ride near the higher end of their category's average w/kg range, while larger riders may find themselves closer to the lower end.
**For this event, "flatter routes" have less than 3,100 feet (945 meters) of climbing per 100 miles (161 km).
