A Gift Guide for the Zwifter on Your List

Shopping for a Zwifter is no small feat. With all our talk about FTP tests, power to weight ratios, and the wiles of Watopia, sometimes it sounds like we’re speaking another language. At least for the uninitiated. Not to fear, there’s something for every Zwifter on your list, whether you’re looking for a stocking stuffer or a big gift that will keep them thinking of you (and thanking you) all year long.

– Hydration mix. Some riders have faves, but you can’t go wrong with flavors from GU, Nuun (very portable, thanks to the small tube,) Vega (a fave among vegans,) Tailwind (yum, caffeinated hydration!) and Skratch Labs (subtle flavors and a product that’s great for the day after your holiday party.)

– Zwift Gift Card. Choose between a three-month and one-year membership, so they’ll think of you every time they hop on their bike.

- Foam rollers. A great way for the Zwifter on your list to work out any post kinks. There’s a lot of them out there. The crew at Wirecutter created a great list.

– Socks. Stoke out the cyclists on your list with some socks. The bespoke crowd loves Rapha (men’s + women’s,) racers dig Pearl Izumi (men’s + women’s) and just about everyone hearts the fun and funky Sock Guy. #strongsockgameApple TV

– Apple TV. Affordable, easy to set-up, small, and compact, Apple TV makes Zwifting simple.

– Fan[s] — Although some Zwifters prefer a large box fan, most go with a small or medium unit with a remote control. We like the Honeywell HT-908 and the Lasko 3637.

– Sweatbands. No one likes perspiration in their eyes. Choose from the high-tech GUTR, high-performance Transfer Lite, or the straight-forward, Halo Slim. There are also some awesome retro headbands on Amazon as well as the baller, $275 Gucci Headband.

– Wireless Earbuds. Because Zwifting is more fun with music and podcasts: the $50 Skull Candy Ink’d, $100 Bose SoundSports, and $130 Jaybird X3 are all solid options.Trainiers

– New trainer bundle. Help your fave Zwifter up their indoor pedaling game with the first class, Cyclops Hammer Direct Drive Bundle or the reliable and lightweight, Magnus Wheel-On Bundle. And for Zwifters who travel a bunch, the Powercal is perfect, letting them sneak in a session at a hotel gym.

– Bar Tape. One of the quickest ways to make a bike feel new again is new bar tape. Lizard Skins is a great option thanks to a ton of different colors and designs as well as three different widths, because bigger often is better when it comes to comfort.
