Community
Leader Program

Zwifters are what makes Zwift, Zwift!
Whether you’re a club organizer or exclusively rock the ride leader beacon,
you are making a difference for those who ride with you. To help support your work,
we have built a community leader program that was built with you and the
community you have built in mind.

The Requirements

Your group’s placement within the community leader program is based on four key pieces of criteria:

1. The Popularity of Your Events

This number is looking at how many individuals engaged with one of your events within a 8 month period. People who show up to events repeatedly show up as one person to understand how many people your rides appealed to.

2. The Frequency of Events

At face value, this seems like an easy metric to game but it’s not. Not only will we be looking at the number of events, but also the number of people who show up to those events. Groups that hold many events that consistently have high attendance will be evaluated more favorably.

3. The Size of Your Community

This is an evaluation of the individual people who show up to events and any one within your club. For most groups, this combination of statistics is pretty straightforward. If you intentionally do not use clubs or have multiple clubs under the same group name, those are also accounted for in this measurement.

4. The Quality of the Events

Similar to the point above, just by having an event does not mean that it is a quality event. Factors that contribute to this include:

  • Do your events have regular leaders and sweepers?
  • Do you keep your ride routes fresh?
  • Is the average completion score of your events high?
