DESCRIPTION DE L'ÉVÉNEMENT
Zwift Running League 2022 Season 2 - Race 3 of 4.
Lace up! It’s time for the 5th season of Zwift Running League, a 4 week series of heart-pounding, can’t-miss events featuring alternating race formats we all know and love. Bring a water bottle–the fun starts Wednesday, August 3rd 2022 and runs through to August 24th.
Just like the previous season, the events will alternate week-to-week from a points-based cross country style race to a team relay race.
There are 7 event times to choose from and teams are placed into our unique City classification system based on your team’s run pace categories.
To register your team, head over to www.wtrl.racing/zwift-running-league/Opens a new window. Here you can also check out the competition rules (advised!), your teams allocated starting time and full detailed results that are updated throughout the day.
HOW IT WORKS: THE POINTS RACE
In this race, classic cross country scoring will be used—the top three runners score for their team based on their finishing order. The fourth runner is the tie-breaker. Meaning, if the team points are the same after the first three runners cross the finish line, the next runner’s place determines the overall team winner.
HOW IT WORKS: THE RELAY RACE
Your first runner will set off as soon as the banner drops and cover approximately 2km. Runners 2 and 3 remain in the start pen (do not cross the start line!). When the first runner crosses the finish line, your second runner can set off for their 2km. The 3rd and final runner sets off when the second runner crosses the finish line.
