Welcome to the Glorious Gravel Race Series. Join us every Tuesday & Thursday to explore some of the mixed terrain routes where tactics and bike choice can be a factor in your result. Thursday's ride is usually short crit style format whilst Tuesday's race will usually feature a longer and more hilly course.

This Thursday we're heading to Makuri to race 4 laps of the Mech Isle Circuit. Bike choice can be tricky for this course with a lightweight gravel bike getting the advantage if you can attack and make a gap on the climb before the pack chases you down on the tarmac section.

The race is a handicap format with D group riders starting first and other categories following at 3 minute intervals. You'll need to work together to stay ahead of the groups behind and catch those in front for a chance to cross the finish line first.
