RÈGLES DE L'ÉVÉNEMENT
Cet événement est soumis aux conditions suivantes :
DESCRIPTION DE L'ÉVÉNEMENT
Born from the Donny Chaingang, The WOW Chaingang welcomes riders of all skill levels, from newcomers, regular group riders to seasoned Continental Pros. This is a ramped workout lasting between an hour to an hour and a half, depending on the route and the riders involved. We prioritise inclusivity, with our WOW Chaingang broadcast showcasing every participant!
Guided by the Yellow Beacon, composed of Aeonian racers and surprise guests, the ride kicks off with a controlled pace, gradually building momentum until the legendary 'Go Go Go'. After that, there is no need to stay with the Yellow beacon, the limits are off and it’s time to go as hard as you want to the fixed finish line.
If you get dropped then the Red Beacon will be there to help, chat, talk cake, gin and has a myriad of ways to encourage and entertain. When you do get through the line there is always a few km to cool down, talk about how it was, sharing experiences and planning for future WOW Chaingangs.
**Each week, tune in for lively broadcast and commentary by Matt Payne and/or Emma Martin from Full Speed Events.
How The WOW Chaingang works:
Before we start TURN ON the message board.
This is NOT A RACE but I’m sure it may turn into one.
We all roll out together at a steady pace keeping everyone together – around 2wpk
The pace may lift if the Yellow Beacon chooses to do so.
The Red Beacon will be riding at approx 2 w/kg all ride and is there to look after the riders and marks the last group on the road.
DO NOT pass the Yellow Beacon until ..........the Flag Drops and we "GOGOGO" then there are no limits!
The ride will end at a standard Segment Line i.e. lap, climb, sprint etc and will then have a warm down to the blue fence.
