DESCRIPTION DE L'ÉVÉNEMENT
This is a friendly, inclusive group ride designed to welcome a range of abilities while keeping everyone riding together on the same route and at the same time.
The primary leader (yellow beacon) will ride at a steady 2.1–2.5 W/kg on average, with some slightly higher efforts on the hills. The ride will be fenced for the first 10–15 minutes to allow everyone to settle in and form the group.
After that, a secondary leader will move off the front at a higher pace (~2.5–3.0 W/kg). Riders who want to push the pace or test themselves are welcome to follow along for as long as they like. If you get dropped, no problem at all - the yellow beacon will arrive shortly and you can continue the ride comfortably with the main group.
We’ll also have a sweeper (red beacon) riding at the back to help anyone who falls off the group rejoin the peloton.
The ride is listed as a D ride, but our goal is to offer both D and C pacing options within the same event - social, supportive, and flexible. Ride at the pace that suits you, regroup if needed, and enjoy the ride together.
