EVENT DESCRIPTION
Welcome to VO2sday - 5 short, back-to-back TT races designed to give you a properly structured VO2 Max workout in a motivating and engaging race!
Be sure to sign up and complete all 5 races. This ensures that you get a proper VO2 Max workout, and puts you into contention for the time-based GC competition, found on Zwift Power.
Because the goal is for you to hold your max power for the duration of each race, these are set up as mass-start time trial events. Drafting is disabled, so there's no 'sitting in.' Use the best TT frame and wheels you've got. Push as hard as you can for the race's 3-5 minute duration, then recover for a few minutes before doing it again!
Categories are based on your compound score, which takes into account your 5-minute power and body weight as is computed as (5-min power in W/kg) * (5-min power in W). Current category setup:
- A: 1800+
- B: 1400-1800
- C: 1100-1400
- D: 1100 and below
