It’s your second chance to go head-to-head against Spartacus! This unique format is a mass-start event where you’ll race against other participants—and a time set by Fabian Cancellara.
Stage 2 is the longer of two Chasing Cancellara race stages, on the Temples and Towers (Makuri Islands) course. The route gives you a little bit of everything including flats, rolling hills and three KOMs.

Distance: 20.3 mi / 32.6 km
Elevation: 919 ft / 280 m
You’ll be auto-assigned Fabian’s weapon of choice: The BMC Time Machine time trial bike, so get ready to light it up!
No drafting; you’re going to battle Spartacus using your own power.
The Chasing Cancellara jersey is unlocked for participation in either race stage.
