DESCRIPCIÓN DEL EVENTO
We have heard that the Yeti can sometimes be spotted on this Road to Sky route. Come join us on our Yeti search!
Watch for the sign on the right just after turn 12 at about the 10.2 KM mark that says “Méfiez-vous du Yêti”, which means “Beware the Yeti”. Under that sign it says, “4.9 KM”. We don’t know if that means “4.9 KM after this sign” or “within the next 4.9 KM”. But if it’s like deer warning signs on roads in Canada, it would mean “within the next 4.9 KM”. That means you might spot the Yeti anywhere between 10 KM and 15 KM. That’s your reward for running that far!
According to ZwiftInsider.com, the most common sightings are “off to the left after you pass the orange tents of turn 7, sitting on the rocks to the left of turn 5, or on the right side of turn 4”.
Good luck with your search, Team! Make sure you take a screenshot of the Yeti and post it on our Facebook page. Alternatively, you can email it to us and we’ll post it for you.
Feel free to make this your long run for the week. Or, if you don’t want to run that far, come join us for 5 or 10 K. You decide.
You are welcome to run at your own pace (AYOP). It’s up to you. Chatting is encouraged too! Talk about food. Make a funny observation. Whatever. We don’t judge. Just have some fun!
Epic Run Crew is based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. We were founded as an in-person club in 2021 and then joined Zwift in June 2022.
