Join Team Velos for our Spring Classics series of the Monument Races🌼🚴♂️🚴🏼♀️🌸
This week is our halfway point in the 12-week series, and the second of five races counting towards the Monuments general classification.
This Friday we race one of the most iconic monuments on the spring calendar: Tour of Flanders / Ronde Van Vlaanderen! Mark the date in red and be prepared for a tough course with short consecutive and punchy climbs.
Our course this week is two laps of Richmond UCI Worlds. FTS segments in play are: Libby Hill KOM on lap one, 23rd Street KOM on lap two for points to top ten fastest times as follows: 20, 17, 15, 13, 11, 9, 7, 5, 3, 1. Finish points are as follows: 100, 90, 80, 75, 70, 65, 63, 62, 61, 60 for first ten across the line, reducing by one point for subsequent finishers. Maximum points available = 140.
