ABOUT THIS WORKOUT
A sweet spot training that includes 18 minutes of warmup with a 3 step power ramp up,anbd after that 5x10 minutes of sweetspot training with a couple of minutes easy spinning between them, after the main set we will have 10 minutes of tempo ride and then finishing off with 10 minutes cooldown..the goal of sweetspottraining is to getting the triathlete used to riding in this zone which is the power zone optimized for the bike ride in a triathlon, try to aim for a cadence int he range of 85-95 rpm and keep your focus on smooth pedalling (hint dont ovedoe it,these intervals can be harder than you think)
ABOUT GROUP WORKOUTS
Zwifters line up in the starting area just like a normal event and once the event starts, workout mode begins. Everyone stays together regardless of power output. That's right, if you're outputting 100W and another Zwifter is outputting 400W you will stay in exactly the same position relative to each other. Only if you stop pedaling and fall 6 meters behind the group will the rubber-banding stop. Zwift Group Workouts are rated "E" for everyone.
HELPFUL HINT
We highly recommend doing one of the FTP tests as the estimated FTP can be inaccurate and make the difficulty level of the workouts too high for your current fitness level.
