Time Trial Master and CCC Team Head of Performance Marco Pinotti opens up the pro workout not only for CCC Team's riders Marco explains the session below!

After completing a good warmup, today we have 3 repetitions of the following cycle: 30sec " all-out " followed by 90sec at a brisk pace below FTP but still hard enough that it will stress the aerobic system to use lactate produced, and then a further 2min at an easier pace before repeating the cycle again.

We complete 2 sets of this work before ending the session with 5min in Zone 2 to shuttle lactate that is left in the legs.
