DESCRIZIONE EVENTO
ABOUT THIS WORKOUT

Welcome to the Rapha Cycling Club Training Camp workout #7. This session aims to develop your capacity to produce high power for short periods of time. We will be targeting durations across 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes and 6 minutes. Each of these efforts will be done in free ride mode - so just get your head down for the duration of each effort. Pacing is absolutely key - have in your mind 'start steady and finish strong'.

Being able to produce high power for a few minutes is hugely beneficial in the real world, whether it's closing a small gap, getting over a short climb, or making that big attack before the cafe stop or in a race. It's nice to pack a punch! Between each effort, we will rest fully.

ABOUT GROUP WORKOUTS

Zwifters line up in the starting area just like a normal event and once the event starts, workout mode begins. Everyone stays together regardless of power output. That's right, if you're outputting 100W and another Zwifter is outputting 400W you will stay in exactly the same position relative to each other. Only if you stop pedaling and fall 6 meters behind the group will the rubber-banding stop.

We highly recommend doing one of the FTP tests as the estimated FTP can be inaccurate and make the difficulty level of the workouts too high for your current fitness level.
