EVENT DESCRIPTION
The one through the jungle
The WKG Winterleague 20/21 covers all the worlds Zwift has to offer and consists of 20 stages, including two ‘mega stages’, 2 time-trials, a night stage and even a mountain descent.
The series has been designed to offer a mix of flat, hilly, quick-fire and endurance races, scheduled to accommodate as many time zones as possible.
Each stage is open to EVERYONE, however, the league is exclusively for pre-registered riders.
Each ride has it's category. 1 being the easiest, 4 being the most challenging
Cat 1 race points x 1
Cat 2 race points x 1
Cat 3 race points x 1,2
Cat 4 race points x 1,5
First place gets total amount of points which is equal to the total amount of registered riders for each category
E.g. Cat C has 40 registered participants for race 1. Winner gets 40 points, second place 39 and so on.
E.g. B Cat has 30 registered participants for race 8. Winner gets 30 points, second place 29 and so on.
Bonus points for category 1 and 2 races
10 points for #1
6 points for #2
4 points for #3
2 points for #4
1 point for #5
League Rules:
1. You MUST have a zwiftpower.com profile
2. You MUST join the new WKG20-21 Strava group here: https://www.strava.com/clubs/779224Opens a new window
3. You must select your category correctly, based on recent race history or FTP tests. WKG reserves the right to disqualify any racers that have obviously entered the wrong category.
4. NO TT bikes (except for the time trial stages)
5. ALL power-ups are allowed.
6. You MUST complete at least 12 rounds to be included in the final league table.
7. You MUST use a heart rate monitor.

You'll need to finish a few rides before you can join your first scored race. With more data we'll be able to recommend the best group for you to compete against.
