Group Workout
ABOUT THIS WORKOUT presents to you Festina Lente! Roughly translating to "make haste, slowly," this structured training workout is designed to get you geared up for a great weekend. We all stick together -- so long as you keep the pedals moving, you'll stay with the group! This ride is ridden each week with members of the Kanberra Sport Cycling Team as the lead beacons.

You'll line up in the starting area just like a normal event. Once the event starts, workout mode begins. Everyone stays together regardless of power output: if you're outputting 100W and another Zwifter is outputting 400W, you will stay in exactly the same position relative to each other. The rubberbanding will only stop if you stop pedaling and fall more than six meters behind the group.

We highly recommend doing one of the FTP tests as Zwift's estimated FTP can be inaccurate and make the difficulty level of the workouts too high. For more info on FTP go to: a new window
