EVENT DESCRIPTION
Ride Like King is a celebration of all things cycling hosted by Giant and Liv. Now in its 15th edition, the event takes inspiration from Giant Group founder King Liu’s epic annual ride around Taiwan, in 2007, where he renewed his passion for cycling and made it his mission to promote the positive impact of bicycles.
Ride Like King brings together Zwift, World Bicycle Relief and participants to ride for a better world. No matter where you are, you’ll be able to join the Giant and Liv community of athletes, ambassadors and riders on Zwift for Ride Like King 15 (RLK15). To honor Giant Group celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, a new “500 for 500” challenge is being introduced. Giant Group will donate one Buffalo Bicycle to World Bicycle Relief for every 500km ridden by participants on RLK15 Zwift events, up to 500 total bikes!
The event kicks off Friday, May 19th and goes to Sunday, May 21, with a series of four rides per day. Leading these rides will be some of cycling’s biggest names: a mix of notable ambassadors of Giant and Liv as well as employees and partners. Finishing a ride means you’ll unlock the in-game Ride Like King 15 kit and be entered into a drawing to win the real-life matching jersey, along with a signed card from King Liu.

This year, Ride Like King is once again partnering with World Bicycle Relief, helping the nonprofit get bikes to those who need them most. WBR has provided over 720,000 bicycles to help communities mobilize and thrive, and this event is your chance to help them grow that number!
Your efforts on the bike directly impact the number of donations. For every 500 km completed during this event, Giant Group will donate a life-changing Buffalo Bicycle to WBR, up to 500 total bicycles.
Zwifters of all levels are welcome to participate in the campaign, riding alongside Giant and Liv ambassadors.
