WORKOUT DESIGNER
Roy McCauley is both an experienced cyclist, and a student of the sport.
Holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he has vast professional experience reviewing performance data from automobiles, wind tunnels, and now, cyclists. Workouts, Power Data, Zones, Endurance Training, "The Process," and Revolution Coaching have all become an integral part of a lifestyle. Sometimes it is difficult to hide his inner "nerd."
A competitor at heart, McCauley honed his analytical skills holding Engineer and Crew Chief positions in the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series. Those teams achieved several wins, and had a knack for spraying champagne. In Cycling, he has enjoyed podium performances and wins in regional road, and gravel events. Additionally, he holds multiple Lowes Time Trial Championships within his age group.
Revolution Coaching and Zwift are great avenues to climbing an epic Col in France with friends, or just focusing fitness.

ABOUT GROUP WORKOUTS
Zwifters line up in the starting area just like a normal event and once the event starts, workout mode begins. Everyone stays together regardless of power output. That's right, if you're outputting 100W and another Zwifter is outputting 400W you will stay in exactly the same position relative to each other. Only if you stop pedaling and fall 6 meters behind the group will the rubber-banding stop.
HELPFUL HINT
We highly recommend doing one of the FTP tests as the estimated FTP can be inaccurate and make the difficulty level of the workouts too high for your current fitness level.
