イベント概要
WHAT’S ALL THIS THEN?
Join the Herd Racing weirdos as we present a very special School’s Out! Edition of our ever-popular Climbers Gambit hill climb series spanning the entire month of June, culminating in a Final Grade up a new Watopian Climb!
IS THIS A RACE?
Everything in life is a race! But this race is a little bit different:
THE ONLY THING THAT COUNTS IN THIS RACE SERIES IS YOUR TIME ON THE TIMED KOM SEGMENT(s) VERSUS OTHER RIDERS IN YOUR CATEGORY. Feel free to take it easy for the rest of the ride and get in a good warmup + a nice cooldown.
Be sure to finish the event route, crossing the blue custom finish banner, or your hill time will not count.
Draft + Powerups are both disabled, so it is just you against the following hills (start times listed below are very much approximate based on cursory YouTube race stream research…best to verify + stay alert out there!).
Times are ranked across all races each Weeknd and go toward an overall cumulative climbing time for GC purposes.
Please note that, although we were largely successful in previous seasons, Timing + Scoring on ZwiftPower can sometimes be unreliable with this format. Please be patient if things look a bit off. Worst case you’ll all get a refund of your race entry fees.
WHAT HILLS SHALL WE CLIMB?
Weeknd 1 (June 1/2 ): Box Hill
via 10.5k of London Loop – climb starts @ approx. 6.8k
Weeknd 2 (June 8/9): Das Volcano
via 12k of Whole Lotta Lava – climb starts @ approx. 7.5k
Weeknd 3 (June 15/16): Fox Hill
via 6k of London Loop Reverse – climbs starts @ approx. 2.7k
Weeknd 4 (June 22/23): Leith Hill
via 20k of Greatest London Loop – climb starts @ approx. 16.8k
Weeknd 5 (June 29/30): Final Grades (exact climb TBD)
via TBDk of Route TBD…pending new Watopia roads!
Climb start times listed above are approximate based on route descriptions + YouTube race scouting…keep your head up out there and look for the Zwift glowing red start line on the road!
WHERE ARE THE RESULTS?
Individual race results for KOM times can be found on ZwiftPower; just search for Herd Climbers Gambit and find the race time in which you competed.

I WANT TO RACE AT DIFFERENT TIMES!
ME TOO! Luckily there are multiple time slots to choose from each weekend, and it doesn't matter if you don't do the same time slot each time. You can also race multiple times each weekend and your best result will count towards the overall GC.
I CAN'T MAKE IT TO EVERY RACE!
Well, cancel those graduation party plans because to compete for this digital trophy you’re going to have to complete all stages and compile hill times towards the overall GC.
FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK! WE’RE REALLY FRIENDLY + FUN…PROMISE! IF SOMEONE IS NOT FRIENDLY TO YOU LET ME KNOW AND I WILL PUNCH THEM IN THE FACE.
