The Movistar Team is holding a Zwift Social Ride to raise awareness on road security and support all amateur riders affected by accidents. Joined by several other team-mates, Movistar Team rider Sergio Samitier will lead the event, in memory of his friend and training colleague Álex Sierra, from his home Club Ciclista Barbastro, who was killed earlier this month while on a ride in their home Aragón.

We'll be riding at a relaxed pace, aiming to share this evening with one of our biggest hopefuls -who got a promising 13th place overall in his first Giro d'Italia, and support the efforts of Sergio and many other riders to achieve more mutual respect between riders and drivers - a goal expressed in our motto, #RodamosJuntos ('We Ride Together').
