The Splunk SLAM is a legendary and popular group ride out ofGreenwich, CT (USA). This is not a race, but the pace will steadily increase throughout the ride up to full A race speeds. We will roll with Leaders Gate at a 2.5w/kg warmup pace. The ride leader will call out the increases in w/kg and pickup the pace. For the last hour, the gate will drop and we will hit race pace at 4w/kg and higher. Some people will be dropped. But hang on as long as you can, form groups, and use the sweeper. Challenge yourself, feel burn, enjoy the pain, and definitely come back next week.
