L'ETAPE AUSTRALIA ZWIFT SESSIONS

Zwift and L'Etape Australia has teamed up with Coach David Heatley from Cycling-Inform® to deliver a series of training sessions to work you through your three build phases of base, strength and speed to help you prepare for L'Etape Australia event and get to the start line in the form of your life.

ABOUT THIS WORKOUT

Something for everyone. Ideal for developing all aspects of your cycling. These intervals get shorter as you progress through this workout. As you do so it is important to increase the effort intensity by increasing your speed on the trainer as you progress through these intervals.

WORKOUT DESIGNER

David Heatley is an International cycling coach with over ten years of professional coaching experience. He is the founder of Cycling-Inform®, a cycle coaching company that is trusted by over 40,000 cyclists worldwide since 2007. He uses a unique training methodology that he has developed to help his clients quickly excel with their riding while juggling their training around their work and family commitments.

ABOUT GROUP WORKOUTS

Zwifters line up in the starting area just like a normal event and once the event starts, workout mode begins. Everyone stays together regardless of power output. That's right, if you're outputting 100W and another Zwifter is outputting 400W you will stay in exactly the same position relative to each other. Only if you stop pedaling and fall 6 meters behind the group will the rubber-banding stop.

We highly recommend doing one of the FTP tests as the estimated FTP can be inaccurate and make the difficulty level of the workouts too high for your current fitness level.
