Partnering with MESOA.
On 5th and 6th March, between rounds 3 and 4 of this year’s 6 Nations Tournament, the Head for Change Rugby Ride Challenge 2022 powered by Zwift will take centre stage.
Players who have been affected by neurodegenerative disease and their families have urgent needs which are not being met. With your support we will help them. The care, advice and support we will provide will cost money, so we have an ambitious fundraising programme which we want YOU to be part of. Join us for one, some or all of 12 rides across the two days where your miles will count towards the International competition.
Led by Alix, and joined by Geraint Thomas OBE, Tour de France 2018 winner, the event will feature over 100 former rugby internationals and many other celebrity sporting ambassadors.
Select your team:
- Wales
- Ireland
- Scotland
- England
- Rest of the World
After all events are complete, we'll tally up which country has cycled furthest and won the Rugby Ride Challenge.
The event ambassadors will have the dual aim of completing as many miles as they can towards the team’s total, and also recruiting sports and cycling fans to take part in the challenge and to raise funds to support the charity’s important work.

Whilst events fundraising remains challenging and unpredictable due to the continuing Covid pandemic, you can take part in the Rugby Ride Challenge from the comfort of your own home. Powered by Zwift and MESOA, it is the perfect way to enjoy some competition, keep fit and raise money for Head for Change.
