Ride Like King is back, and we’ve got plenty to celebrate! This year marks not only the eighth year of the series on Zwift, but also the seventeenth year that Giant Group - parent company of Giant, Liv, Momentum, and CADEX - has run this celebration of cycling!
Ride Like King is a chance to ride for a better world. The campaign seeks to celebrate Giant Group founder King Liu, who, in 2007, at the age of 73, completed a 15-day, 927 km ride around Taiwan to demonstrate his passion for cycling. Following this feat, Liu set out to share his experience—and the positive impact of cycling on individuals, communities, and economies—with governments, aiming to help grow the sport.
In true Zwift style, we’ve got a whole host of activities planned to help you rack up the kilometers all for a good cause. This year also marks the 20th anniversary of World Bicycle Relief, and for every 500 km ridden, Giant Group will donate 1 Buffalo Bike—up to 700 bikes!
What's on?
The Ride-to-Raise warm-up rides will take place May 1–15, where you will ride in the brand-new Ride Like King 17 kit (finishers will unlock the kit).
The Celebration Rides run from May 16-18, and we've marked the occasion with the release of two new bikes: the 2025 TCR Advanced SL, and the 2025 Langma Advanced SL.
Expect to hold the wheel of Giant and Liv’s most notable teams and riders, including Team Jayco AlUla, Liv AlUla Jayco, Giant and Liv triathlon, mountain bike, and gravel pros, as well as ambassadors like Ayesha McGowan, Louis Hatchwell, Zwift community ride leaders, and more.
Participate in the Celebration Rides and you’ll have a chance to win Giant and Liv’s main giveaway: limited edition RLK17 jerseys, along with a card signed by King Liu. Three jerseys and cards will be given away via random drawings for each of the main event rides. Check out the official rules at the link below.
The more you ride, the more you raise!
Both the Ride-to-Raise Warm-Up Rides and Celebration Rides unlock the RLK17 kit and count towards your collective kilometers, as well as your tracked outdoor miles.
