Welcome to fresh new workouts every week! Each week this series will feature new workouts that will be tied to any of our major stage events - so your training will complement any rides you may already be planning to join.
Missed a group workout? No problem! We’ll feature all workouts in the “Workouts of the Week” folder to tackle on your own time. A word of caution though, they’ll only be around for a short time before new workouts come through. As soon as you see one you’re interested in, hop on it quick!
This week’s workout description:
This week’s workout is part of the INEOS Grenadiers Virtual Training Camp workout series and features Egan Bernal. Egan Bernal, the first Colombian to ever win the Tour de France in 2019 and 2021 Giro d'Italia champion, is one of the best climbers of his generation. Today's workout features over/unders, specific efforts that helped shape his fitness to world-champ level. Over/unders are defined as doing 'x' time 'under' FTP, then 'x' time 'over' FTP. We'll also add a cadence twist today—aiming for high cadence during the under and low cadence during the over. Doing this will improve your force production capability.
