TSE Poker Challenge: Virtual Cycling Competition
The TSE Poker Challenge is a virtual cycling competition organized by the TSE club, taking
place every Thursday in March. The event uses a "tiny" format, consisting of short mini-stages.
Calendar and Structure
The competition includes 4 events, each made up of 4 mini-stages lasting approximately 15
minutes each:
● March 12: Set in France (Paris), featuring stages such as the Champs-Élysées and Ven Top.
● March 19: Set in Scotland, with routes like the Glasgow Crit and Scotland Smash.
● March 26: Set in Watopia (e.g., Volcano Circuit, Mayan San Remo).
● April 2: Set between Makuri Islands and Watopia.
Race Times (Italian Time): 19:05, 19:25, 19:45, and 20:05.
Regulations and Technical Requirements
The event is open to categories A, B, C, and D with Category Enforcement active.
● Equipment: You may choose your preferred bike, but Time Trial (TT) bikes are
prohibited.
● Mandatory: A heart rate monitor is required; zPower is not allowed.
● Settings: Drafting and steering are enabled, while Powerups are disabled.
● Scoring: A dynamic system is used based on the number of participants (e.g., 60 starters
= 60 points for 1st place, 1 point for the last).
● Penalties: Athletes who change categories during the tour will receive penalties.
Prizes and Benefits
● General Classification: Based on combined results from the four weeks.
