EVENT DESCRIPTION
Welcome to The Fast Lane presented by ZDR in collaboration with WBR500. Three hours of steady endurance, fast TT bikes and working together to take your riding to the next level.

This is a true long-distance endurance ride designed to keep a steady power pace, build aerobic fitness and rack up your miles and XP. We’re here to keep the pressure on the pedals, make the most of our time on the bike and enjoy some friendly chat while we grind.

All riders are welcome. No discrimination, no egos - just good people putting in the work together.

The goal is consistent endurance riding, not attacking, chasing, or turning every incline into a competition. We ride together, keep the pace steady and help maintain group cohesion throughout the three hours.

A few things to keep in mind:

While all riders will be assigned a fast TT bike with the fastest wheelset in draft mode, you will still be upgrading your bike of choice selected in your garage before starting the ride.

Steady power, steady progress. The aim is to stay within a consistent endurance power range. Save the big efforts for another day.

Ride as a group. Listen to the ride leader, follow their pacing guidance and help keep the group together.

Three hours means three hours. Settle in, fuel properly and embrace the long game. This is about sustainable effort, not short bursts of glory.

Late join is welcome. Join within the first 30 minutes if you can and settle into the group as smoothly as possible.

Sweeps when needed. Nobody should feel abandoned. If you’re struggling to hold the group, speak up early so we can work out the best way to help.

Be smart on climbs. Follow the leader’s instructions and keep the effort controlled. If you want to push harder, take a pull on the flats rather than disrupting the group on every climb.

Respect the pace. This is endurance training, not a hard-climb-and-coast ride. Consistency is the point.

And above all, be a decent human being.

We train together, support each other and make the long hours count. Whether you’re here for the endurance, the XP, the upgrades or simply the company, you’re part of the group.

Three hours. Steady pressure. No shortcuts. Ride the fast lane.
