Hotchillee WOT (Watts on Tuesday)
WOT is a structured workout session that’s following the 16-week progressive Hotchillee Spring Sizzler Training Plan.
This third 4-week block is all about VO2/Zone 5 work.
Training in Zone 5 is all about building your ability to hold an effort above your red-line. This is essential for tackling steep climbs, bridging a gap, making a break or just dishing out some pain.
Week 6: 28/03
VO2 1: 58 TSS
In this session, you’ll be performing X5 3-minute Zone 5 efforts.
Week 7: 04/04
VO2 2: 69 TSS
In this session, you’ll be performing X5 4-minute Zone 5 efforts.
Week 7: 11/04
VO2 3: 80 TSS
In this session, you’ll be performing X5 5-minute Zone 5 efforts.
Week 8: 18/04
VO2 4: 81 TSS
In this session, you’ll be performing X5 5-minute Zone 5 efforts with sprint finishes.
